PINKALICIOUS!

Sunday was a beautiful day for another BIRTHDAY party! We celebrated Alexis’ birthday with lots of family and her little friends. The theme was Pinkalicious! It’s based on a children’s book about a little girl who eats so many pink cupcakes, she turns pink! It’s a really cute story that teaches kids about moderation. Hayden, Declan, Mickenzie, Brady, Aaliyah, Avery, Champ, and Addy all attended with BIG smiles on their little faces. It was so adorable to see a yard full of kiddos playing together. Phil and I got Alexis a Barbie Power Wheels. We thought Alexis would be sooo excited, but she wasn’t really sure what to think of it! I think it actually scared her a little bit. That little thing goes pretty fast! I think she may just need some practice. The city was gracious enough to let us block off the road for the party so we didn’t have to worry about the kids running in the road…or riding their own little cars! Man, it really pays to be best friends with the son of the Chief of Police. ;-)

When Alexis opened up this present from Hayden, she HAD to put it on RIGHT NOW. She literally stripped down in the driveway and put it on right then and there! It had wings on the back so when she put it on she said “Mom, I can fly!!” So sweet! She wore it ALL day and refused to take it off, even when it began tripping her up on the slide. Thanks to everyone who came! Alexis had a blast!!
